http://www.sudsa.com/images/stories/rotator/sn_roadrunners_news_rotator.jpg Words alone cannot express just how much fun all of the families had on the evening of August 3rd, 2009 as the RoadRunners baseball team welcomed those persons within our community who were born with Special Needs.

 A very special heartfelt thanks goes out to Rick Berry, General Manager of the RoadRunners for getting Curtis Jensen and Mr. Lowery Snow from Snow, Jensen, and Reese to sponsor dinner, shirts, and tickets for the families to enjoy a ball game together. Food was catered by Stahli and was simply amazing. Most of us made ourselves sick on the peach cobbler and ice-cream!

It was also very nice to have the coaches and athletes from the Special Olympics out and with us as well.

If you missed this exciting event, don't worry, I'm told we will do it again next year!!!
